Winnipeg Parks Rose

Chris and I were at the nursery looking for things for the yard, about a month ago. We decided on buying a rose bush, because of its name: Winnipeg Parks Rose. At the time there were no buds on it yet, but over the past month it has grown buds, and made some beautiful blossoms! This is what one of them looked like on Friday.

pretty! one of my favourite things about visiting rose gardens is reading all the fun names people have decided to give them. nice for you to have a little bit of winnipeg in your backyard.

You know if i ever had a green digit, it likely wasn't from growing things...

Wow Claire and Chris, way to go. I bet your garden really stands out in Fort St John where growing conditions are so much more difficult than elsewhere.

it's so pretty. i wish I had flowers in my apartment, although i think Buster might try to eat anything I try to grow! BTW, I didn't really enjoy the Breakup. i thought it was kinda long...although I don't have a significant other to appreciate because of it. Lot's of love
